This hand aged cast brass trunk edge clamp is used on the edges of the trunk to protect and hold the corners.  With the ornate look of this clamp it will give any trunk a much more exquisite look.  Antique trunks as well as modern often have edge clamps on each corner of the trunks, sometimes several on each.
