This solid brass star patterned trunk handle loop can be used with slotted or non slotted round ended trunk handles.  The trunk handle loop itself covers any method used to hold the trunk handle in place.  The brass loop is polished and unlaquered.  It will age naturally over time or can be aged with our brass ager Item M-3.
