This half-mortise lock is perfect for chests, boxes, desks, lids, or anything else that closes from the top. The solid steel design and the size of this lock make it ideal for heavy use.

Hardware Tip: Full mortise fit completely inside the door in a mortise pocket, half mortise fit on the inside of the door in a mortise notch and the back of the lock is exposed. Flush mount are surface mounted on the outside of the wood.
